Patwadi Privacy Policy

Patwadi is an intercity parcel delivery service that runs on verified bus corridors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. This is a plain-language summary — have a lawyer review before formal store submission.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone number when you sign up or book.
Booking details: pickup and delivery addresses, parcel contents, weight, and dimensions.
Photos: handoff proof images and bus proof photos uploaded by customers and operators.
Location (operators only): GPS samples during active trips for custody verification and safety. Customers are not continuously tracked.
Payment metadata: Razorpay order and payment IDs, amount paid. We do not store card or UPI credentials.

How we use information

To book, route, and deliver parcels on our corridor network.
To record custody handoffs (code + photo proof) at each transfer point.
To resolve disputes, chargebacks, and support requests.
To notify operators about trip transfers and available jobs.

Third-party services

Supabase — authentication, database, file storage.
Mapbox — address search and geocoding.
Razorpay — payment processing.
WhatsApp — optional support links you open yourself (we do not send messages on your behalf).

Data security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to parcel and custody records is restricted by role (customer, assigned operator, admin). Custody events are append-only for audit purposes.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile and sign-in credentials. Parcel and custody records needed for legal or operational reasons may be retained in anonymised form. You cannot delete your account while you have an active parcel in transit.

Children

Patwadi is not directed at children under 13.
